It’s very rare that I don’t finish a book I intend to read, but occasionally it happens. The only book I can remember trying to read for leisure that I didn’t finish was The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It was way too boring for my tastes. I also think it had a rather predictable ending, even though I never finished it. A film was made in 2009 with Mark Wahlberg and directed by Peter Jackson, but I haven’t seen it.
I didn’t see the movie either. For me the book I have never finished is “The Scarlet Letter.” Not sure why I just can’t seem to get through it.
I probably wouldn’t be able to finish the Scarlett Letter either…maybe that’s the reason why I won’t start it. Maybe someday.
It is kinda intimidating:) Maybe that’s why I run in terror from it after the first chapter lol
haha, totally understandable. Maybe we will both read it eventually…maybe.
Oh well, no harm done. There are plenty of other books to read.

Aww I see I’m not the only one that thought it was extremely boring. At least you finished it…but if you’re sad you took the time, maybe that’s not a good thing? lol
